YouGov profiles recommend that our target audience should be middle aged men between the ages of 25-50, however as a group we have decided that this will not benefit us as we know from other areas of research that the amount of older people ,compared to teenagers and young adults, who have watched short films is much smaller and therefore it would not allow the film to develop recognition within the industry. This has therefore lead us to targeting a largely male dominated audience from the ages of 12-25 in order to allow for a wide range of views and focus on putting the film across to the younger audiences through various social media platforms- such as YouTube.
